What is it about?

There is a lot of treatment guidelines, but few have been tested regarding its applicabitity and usefulness. In middle income countries there is a lack of psychiatrists and psychologists, so, we tested whether an easy guideline could be followed and compared its effectiveness with that of treatment as usual. We found advantages of the guideline treatment in terms of a faster improvement and a higher effect on psychosocial functioning

I hope this article could lead to people doing research on early onset psychosis in different middle income to increase contact in order to have new data regarding treatment on their clinical settings
