Vascular ageing affect the arteries, and measures of this ageing is predictive.

What is it about?

We used data on pulse wave vevlocity along the aorta, but also ultrasound examination data of the carotid artery to analyse prediction of future morbidity and mortality in a population-based, elderly cohort from Malmo, Sweden.
