What is it about?
In Zimbabwe and other countries, policies requires the learning of children with disabilities in schools where all other children learn. This makes it important to find out how the teaching and learning of children with autism in schools where all other children in Zimbabwe learn. One-on-one interviews were carried out with 18 teachers, children and teachers' books were seen and children with autism were observed while learning with other children in classrooms. Teaching starting from what children knew to what they did not know, rewarding them, teachers' working with others and orderly daily activities supported the teaching and learning of children with autism with other children. Good training of teachers and working of all people together can improve the teaching and learning of children with autism with other learners.
