Understanding how attachment affects ideology may help in crafting strategies to bridge the gaps between conservatives and liberals which have been increasing for a number of decades.
Perspectives
In other research I found that adult attachment style, meaning how securely or insecurely connected people are to others, affects their beliefs about some political and scientific issues. In this research I wanted to find if attachment style also influenced whether they were political conservatives or liberals.
