What is it about?

The Christian seven deadly sins has wisdom for helping teachers address vices in their students' lives. This article examines present-day applications for the traditional account of acedia, or sloth, for modern undergraduates.

Why is it important?

If students' experience of acedia is misunderstood as disengagement, underlying causes like anxiety can be exacerbated unintentionally.
