Why is it important?

Significantly the findings identify both Reputation and Manners as key for understanding what, when and why a social group of women engage in aggressive behaviours

Perspectives

The paper aims to provide an appreciative account of why some women engage in alcohol-related aggressive behaviours. Aggression in and around pubs and clubs is a significant public health concern and it is hoped that in making a contribution to the on-going debate on the precursors to violence and disorder that more effective preventative strategies may be developed.
