In this paper we describe our experience with intra-arterial injection of the embolizing liquid Onyx for type II endoleaks after EVAR.

Why is it important?

Other materials have been used for the treatment of type II endoleaks. Onyx has been used in recent years with very good results. The technique for this procedure is also explained in this work.

Perspectives

Endovascular procedures for the treatment of type II endoleaks are becoming very common. There is a need to improve in the technique to solve this problems and to decide what different materials are available to do it. This article describes how to perform the procedure with Onyx and how we can manage this patients.
