Why is it important?
Our research shows that by using the third-order equation of jerk (jerky dynamic) systems, finite-time synchronization techniques are more efficient and offer a great didactic advantage. Thus two jerk circuits can be synchronized in finite-time with analog electronic components which according to some authors could only be done with the help of micro-controller.
Perspectives
Writing this article was a great pleasure as it has co-authors with whom I have had long standing collaborations. This article does not address the problem of varying parameter values. We aim to make the controller insensitive to these variations for better performance.
