Why is it important?
This study aimed to address teacher professional learning, with the flexibility of of time and space. It examined constraints in bin existing teacher PD formats that were largely top down. This bottom up approach aimed to harness the knowledge we have within our community of teachers. It uses a framework of social and online learning.
Perspectives
A main perspective in this paper is teacher online participation- what it was, and why. While data was not large, digital data formed the majority of data collected and analysed. Mixed methods were most useful to collect, analyse and interpret data.
