Why is it important?
Through the case experience, students will become familiar with the actions available to educational leaders working within a fiscally distressed school district, as well as the political consequences that these actions have for a variety of stakeholders.
Perspectives
Writing this article was a great pleasure as it has co-authors with whom I have had long standing collaborations. Both scholars have a research emphasis in fiscal policy and school district budget management.
