Why is it important?
It really is important to know the level of risk for chronic disease so that prevention strategies can be put in place
Perspectives
people with chronic wounds have complex health care needs and a high level of engagement with health professionals. Wounds such as VLU are often seen as a skin condition but they represent underlying problems with the venous system and are often seen in people with other health problems.
