Why is it important?
In this case report the antibiotic use was resticted and would have deteriorated patients health so much. With topical use of taurine derivatives quite rapidly the chronic infection was absolutely cured. Also, this paper open ways for molecular research towards the ctivity of taurine chloramine and taurine bromamine to have a redox potential drive and heal otherwise not healing wounds.
Perspectives
To create a motivation of pharmaceutical industry to fund our clinical and pre-clinical efforts on taurine derivatives and analoques as new medicines to cure infections auto-immune conditions and cancer.
