To assess the clinical effects of diabetic peripheral neuropathy in patients having chronic limb- threatening ischemia treated by infrapopliteal angioplasty for neuro-ischemic foot wounds.

Why is it important?
The presence of severe diabetic neuropathy may jeopardize the results of infrapopliteal angioplasty in terms of patency, tissue cicatrization, and limb preservation, yet without significance on survival of these patients.
Perspectives
When present, diabetic peripheral neuropathy requires appropriate analysis, as specific indicator in critical limb ischemia treatment.
