What is it about?
Turbulence is a mix of different things and in order to understand it, we should study it by pieces. One of the approaches, which is shown in this paper, to take only a single mode of turbulence and let it propagate downstream to reach the eVTOL rotor. The results provide some interesting insights of how this mode impact performance and acoustics.

Why is it important?
Since understanding of a single isolated mode of turbulence helps to identify it's impact, we can now estimate how the most energetic mode in the full turbulence interaction would behave.
Perspectives
I see this as the first step to analysis of modes. The idea of testing different amplitudes under one sifted frequency of the whole spectrum is showing more than it was expected. The frequency can be chosen as the user specifies and the allocation allows (since the lower frequency would require way more simulation time to resolve a few waves to pass), but the approach would remain similar for anyone who is interested in this field.
