FSW of Russian aluminum alloys is hardly attempted. The RRA heat treatment has previously been largely studied on AA7075 alloys only and this research is an attem[pt to study whether this post weld heat treatment would help achieve any benefits for the V-95 and D-19 alloy friction stir lap weld
