Why is it important?
The effects of three-component earthquake excitations and the vertical component have been assess on the hybrid cable-arch bridge. Also, different parameters such as soil type, epicentral distance, spatial variation of the ground motions, and dimensional variation of the structure have been investigated.
Perspectives
Cable-stayed arch bridge as a new hybrid bridge needs to be investigated seismically to be constructed in various places. This paper give an insight to seismic behavior of the bridge.
