Vizient/AJMQ; Member abstracts and posters - 2017 Summit.
What is it about?
Through ongoing efforts to highlight the unique member experience at the 2017 Clinical Connections Summit, Vizient collaborated with the American Journal of Medical Quality (AJMQ) to develop a supplement to its March/April 2018 issue, featuring... Momentum: A Report on the 2017 Vizient Clinical Connections Summit. The supplement includes abstracts of select breakout session presentations by clinicians and other leaders from academic medical centers and community-based hospitals across the Vizient membership as well as the titles of all of the posters presented at the conference. It also provides a summary of the conference and two of the plenary presentations, along with thoughts and insights from some of Vizient's leaders.
Why is it important?
Vizient's Purpose...Ensure our members deliver exceptional, cost-effective care. Vizient's strategy is built around primary member needs: ensuring a sustainable cost structure, reducing unnecessary clinical and operational variation, improving clinical outcomes, and executing strategies for market success. The abstracts and posters presented by member clinicians and other leaders at the conference showcase challenges and unique/novel solutions to some of the most pressing needs at academic medical centers, community-based hospitals, and post-acute care providers across the Vizient membership.
