What is it about?

Strategies for improving students' self-esteem in music classes are provided. Strategies can be adapted for a variety of ability and age levels in music classrooms and also for use in general education classrooms.

Why is it important?

Students are struggling with self-esteem more than in previous years. Low self-esteem can negatively affect students' academic, social, or musical development.
