What is it about?

Most people do not use helmet because they fail to understand that it can be fatal. To know current situation of helmet use state wide survey was conducted for the first time in Rajasthan, India.

Why is it important?

It is important because it throws light on what steps should planners and policy makers need to take in order to make roads safe.

I think all research based publications need to inform policy. Unless planners and implementing agency work together nothing is going to change and research findings will be of no use.
