Comparison of turbulence models in the calculation of ship viscous flows with free surface

The free surface viscous flows of KCS (KRISO Container Ship) is simulated using the CFD software Fluent based on different turbulence models coupled with several wall functions provided in the Fluent. By comparison of the results of the different turbulence models and wall functions with the experimental data, the predicting effects of the turbulence models on hydrodynamics of ship viscous free surface flows are analyzed, which is helpful for the choosing of turbulence models in the calculation of ship viscous flow.
