What is it about?

If racism is America’s original sin, it is also one of America’s most pressing contemporary problems. Many Christians see multi-racial churches as one part of the solution, but research from black scholars like Korie Edwards and Willie James Jennings makes clear just how powerful white norms and culture are even within multi-racial congregations. In this paper, I explore what the study of 1 Corinthians might contribute to multi-racial congregations seeking to address racism.
