Why is it important?

multicomponent program is feasible in hospital setting and guarantee a long standing sustainibility. Daily discussions, daily pain assesment and readily available specialized palliative care service are the most important components

Working on this topic has allowed to me to understand better some dynamics inside an hospital ward and to train a multidisciplinary Group to educate patients and relatives. I hope this article leave the "take home message" that to manage pain its evaluation is not enough, but it's more important to educate professional and no professionals togheter with pain specialists.
