Why is it important?
Origin countries of migrants have yet to determine broad-ranging strategies to lure remittances for development. A broader look at a rural locality's economic competitiveness and remittance owners' financial knowledge and skills both help in the analysis of rural areas' remittance investment climates.
Perspectives
Analyzing remittance climates matters for rural development and to provide alternatives to breadwinners' overseas work.
