What is it about?
Justice involved youth work with the community, and non-profit organizations to a large-scale community mural. Mural design and paint processes are completed using methods of restorative justice that help to reintegrate youth, build community partnerships, and revitalize ailing communities.

Why is it important?
Restorative justice is a form of participatory justice that requires the involvement of everyone from the "offender" to members of the community in building a resolution to crime. CARP allows for a multitude of outcomes to occur, with the most important being the reintegration of the youth into their community. This alternative form of punishment in a society that has focused so intently on retribution.
Perspectives
This is a project that can easily be implemented in any area. This publications can serve as a guide to program development in those areas.
