What is it about?
Examining types of activities, hour spent in activities, and school provided support for music teachers in comparision to non-music teachers such as mathematics and science educators.
Why is it important?
My findings reveal that music teachers engage in fewer high quality engagements such as collaborative forms of PD, but overall, the findings are inconsistent and music educators are not as underserved as previously thought. This study uses national-level data and is the first of its kind.
