Quantifying phishing detection decisions
What is it about?
Phishing emails are one of the top vectors for cyber attacks. This work identifies how people make decisions about phishing emails. When the perceived costs are high, people are more cautious. However, despite this caution, people are unable to fully compensate for their poor detection ability.
