What is it about?

Mark presents that God's kingdom expands through the unexpected work of the anonymous exorcist. Although the disciples deny the unknown person's contribution to the expansion and marginalize him or her, Mark criticizes their self-centered attitudes and narrow definition of membership. The evangelist invites the reader to understand the inclusive character of God's dominion and to participate in God's work.
