Why is it important?
we investigated whether the simultaneous prompting procedure could be an evidence-based practice in teaching new skills to individual with disabilities. This is important since there is a big gap between research and practice in the field of special education and this study contributes to the literature by providing that the simultaneous prompting procedure as an evidence-based practice to the researchers and practitioners in the field.
Perspectives
Writing this article was a great pleasure as the authors have been involved this line of research since early 1990s. This study is an instance of showing the power of international collaboration between the researchers from USA and Turkey.
