What is it about?
The official treatment guidelines of organizations like the American Psychological Association have public and clinical importance. They need therefore to be accurate, comprehensive, and up to date. The recently published American Psychological Association guidelines unfortunately fail that test, as the authors know from their own contact with the APA Guideline Update Panel as well as their understanding of the PTSD treatment literature.
