What is it about?
While many fields of psychotherapy do not consider physical touch to be part of the healing process, psychedelic therapy is unique in that many researchers encourage some forms of touch to be part of the treatment. This study evaluates the views of psychedelic researchers on how touch should be used in psychedelic therapy, finding that most feel that touch is important for psychedelic psychotherapy, but they also emphasize the importance of consent and therapeutic boundaries.
