What is it about?

Because medical education does not adequately address the impact of psychosocial factors on medication adherence and response, additional education on psychosocial principles of pharmacology can encourage safe and effective prescribing when introduced into the medical school curriculum. A novel educational activity implementing an online module and interactive role plays demonstrates potential value in enhancing medical students' attitudes and knowledge of psychosocial factors underlying treatment adherence.
