What is it about?
Personality disorders (PDs) can emerge in adolescence, but misconceptions about PDs in youth and barriers to care can make it difficult for young people with PDs to receive timely treatment. We review evidence that Good Psychiatric Management for Adolescents (GPM-A), an approach that focuses on interpersonal functioning and was designed for use by generalist mental health clinicians, can help expand access to treatment for young people with PDs.
