What is it about?
This article describes Homiyah, a nationwide Israeli effort to improve trauma care during an ongoing war. Clinicians and researchers rapidly trained public-sector therapists, refined the training, and produced evidence-informed guidelines that link brief screening to personalized, trauma-focused treatments with routine outcome monitoring. A consensus process and a clinic scorecard support adoption across services. Early implementation is underway. The model offers a scalable roadmap other health systems can adapt to deliver effective care in mass-trauma conditions.
