What is it about?

Millions of behavioral health crises occur every year. Yet, the US has historically lacked a national approach to behavioral health crisis care. To inform ongoing efforts to transform the behavioral health crisis system and create a more comprehensive continuum of care, we recruited individuals with lived experience of mental health and/or substance use disorders and behavioral health crisis care providers to share their perspectives on outcomes that should be evaluated to ensure quality and effectiveness of care.
