What is it about?

The social and emotional learning (SEL) framework has been demonstrated as effective for developing affective, cognitive, and behavioral skills in schools and shows promise for improving mental health in pre-adolescents and adolescents. Our systematic review found 11 SEL intervention models showing positive mental health outcomes among students ages 10-19, although the limited number of studies precluded a rating higher than "low evidence” for any intervention.
