What is it about?
The Caring Contacts suicide prevention intervention is recommended after high-risk patients are discharged from an inpatient mental health setting. This paper reviews the implementation of a new program. The program increased the use of the intervention, and patient acceptance was very high, but several barriers and lessons learned are also highlighted.
