What is it about?

Permanent supportive housing programs combine independent housing and services to help people exit homelessness. However, many people with serious mental illness struggle to find and maintain housing in these programs. This study used literature review, interviews with experts, an expert panel, and focus groups with consumers to identify a set of social skills that support independent housing attainment and retention among homeless persons with serious mental illness.
