What is it about?

Community partnerships with public schools and mental health providers are imperative to to meet the social and emotional needs of students. Like any relationship, these partnerships are based on trust and often take time. Partnering with academic medical centers, community partnerships can aid in training of psychiatric trainees while offering much needed mental health resources to school settings. In this article we explore a three year partnership with academic medicine and our local public school system.
