What is it about?

Circular RNA is a recently characterized species of RNA that is essential for normal brain function and may be dysregulated in a wide variety of neuropsychiatric illnesses. Although circular RNA has great promise as a biomarker, our scoping review found little research directed towards practical clinical needs. More discussion between clinicians and researchers is essential for us to realize the potential of these versatile molecules.
