What is it about?

Medications that reduce the the activity of acetylcholine are common in medicine. However, it is widely known that these medications can cause adverse effects on mental functions. The current paper shows that these medications have adverse impacts on mental functions as well as brain structure. There are important implications of reducing this burden of acetylcholine receptor blockade.
