What is it about?

Question. Is receiving CM treatment for StUD associated with a reduced risk of death? Findings. In this retrospective cohort study of 2,962 people with past-year StUD, patients who received CM were 40% less likely to die than those with StUD who did not receive CM after adjustment for demographic characteristics and co-occurring physical and behavioral health conditions. Meaning. Patients who receive CM for StUD may be at reduced risk of death compared to those who do not receive CM.
