We examined whether social factors influenced inequities in depression, cognition, and self-rated health among Black and Hispanic/Latinx older adults. We found that social factors primarily explained these health disparities. Specifically, lower educational level, income, number of years worked, and health insurance coverage exacerbated inequities in depression, cognition, and self-rated health among Black and Hispanic/Latinx older adults.
