Preventing contractures in NMS and dystonia

What is it about?

This case report suggests that botulinum toxin injections (Botox) early on can help prevent contractures (i.e. permanent scarring-like tightening of a muscle) in dystonic illnesses. (note: the original letter had a typo in the title, later corrected by an erratum)
