What is it about?
Focused supervision following in-person training of psychotherapy providers in the use of empirically supported treatments has been shown to result in greater treatment adoption and competency among these providers. This study examined the training and supervision experiences within a sample of predominately master's-level therapists at an academic institution. Our findings highlight the need for increased supervision of empirically supported treatments to help improve the quality of routine mental health care.
