What is it about?
Few services deliver inpatient psychiatric care virtually. This novel approach to the provision of inpatient care was adopted by our facility at the commencement of the COVID 19 pandemic. Here we present and discuss our findings which compare the clinical outcomes achieved by adult patients receiving this novel form of care to those receiving traditional face to face care.
