What is it about?

We studied a low barrier model of transitional housing for homeless veterans called Low Demand and fond that they served many unsheltered veterans. Unsheltered veterans in the program were had worse housing outcomes and were more likely to use acute care services than veterans in other transitional housing programs. These findings reflect the clinical and social challenges of unsheltered veterans and their service needs.
