Trends in Telepsychiatry and In-Person Psychiatric Care for Depression in an Academic Health System, 2017–2022

What is it about?

We studied completion of appointments in the Department of Psychiatry was higher for telehealth vs. in-person appointments from July 2020 - October 2022. We found that appointments conducted via telehealth were more likely to be completed than appointments conducted in-person across all patient characteristics studied.
