What is it about?
Self-stigma is a significant problem for individuals with posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and yet it may be under-looked as a treatment target. The social cognitive model may explain the high rate of co-occurrence of self-stigma and PTSD and may provide a framework for addressing these problems in treatment.
