What is it about?

Peers (people with lived experience) are part of the behavioral health workforce. This study reports findings from a secondary analysis of a SAMHSA data set on peer services in mental health and substance use facilities. Findings include the distribution of peer services in behavioral health facilities across the U.S. and differences in peer services between substance use and mental health facilities. Implications for peer services workforce research are discussed.
