What is it about?

The comparability of severity between Cluster B PD and schizophrenia is starting to be recognized. We used a national database to compare these 3 categories of disorder. Although comorbidities are extremely prevalent in the 3 groups studied, the study bring to light the high probability that those suffering from Cluster B PD experience discrimination in the distribution mental health care services.

Why is it important?

Discrimination recognized at the ethnic or gender level could also exist with certain disorder such as cluster B personality. Furthermore, in a research perspective, the comorbidity between personality and schizophrenia should be more studied.
