What is it about?
The comparability of severity between Cluster B PD and schizophrenia is starting to be recognized. We used a national database to compare these 3 categories of disorder. Although comorbidities are extremely prevalent in the 3 groups studied, the study bring to light the high probability that those suffering from Cluster B PD experience discrimination in the distribution mental health care services.

Why is it important?
Taking into account the severity and frequency of Group B personality disorder, we should review the allocation of resources among the different populations we serve. Discrimination recognized at the ethnic or gender level could also exist with certain disorder such as cluster B personality. Furthermore, in a research perspective, the comorbidity between personality and schizophrenia should be more studied.
